Davly · WebDAV File Server
In one sentence: Davly collects none of your data.
This policy was last updated on August 29, 2026 and applies to all versions of the Davly iOS app.
We collect no information. Davly contains no analytics, no behavioral tracking, no crash reporting, and no advertising code. Specifically:
Davly requests only the single system permission it needs to operate:
This lets the app listen on a port and serve WebDAV requests on your LAN so that computers on the same network can discover and connect to your device. It is used for local communication only. Data never leaves your local network, and the permission is never used to track you or other devices on your network.
If you decline, the server cannot start. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
The app declares the audio background mode solely to keep the server alive briefly when the app moves to the background. No audio is ever played or recorded. iOS may still suspend the app after a period; that is system policy and we cannot override it.
Because Davly collects no personal information, it collects no information from children either. The app is suitable for all ages.
If we ever update this policy, we will revise this page and adjust the "last updated" date at the top. Should a change ever involve collecting data, we will notify you clearly inside the app and obtain your consent first.
